PETER BLAKE'S CHRISTMAS

The Ronettes – Sleigh Ride

Classic Phil Spector and the fantastic Ronettes.

Dexter Gordon – The Christmas Song

It's nice to have a Jazz version of a Christmas song.

Chuck Berry – Run Rudolph Run

It might as well be Johnny B Goode… but it does mention reindeers.

Peggy Lee – The Christmas Waltz

Still my favourite female singer, here she sings a rather obscure song beautifully.

The Beverly Sisters – I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus

Reminds me of my childhood.

Pretenders – 2000 Miles

A great Pretenders sound. Chrissie Hynde has a terrific voice.

Chet Baker – Silent Night

Those lovely clear notes capture the spirit of Christmas.

Tiny Tim – Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph again… it would have been fascinating to have heard Chuck Berry and Tiny Tim
playing together!

Steeleye Span – Hark The Herald Angels Sing

Steeleye Span bring back lots of memories of the 60's. They were particular favorites of my
daughter Liberty.

The Everly Brothers – We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Studio Music and I (and Don and Phil) join in wishing you a Merry Christmas and, lets hope, a
happy 2012.
