Recorded while I was living in a remote corner of Andalusia, Spain somewhere, as my girlfriend called it, between Africa and the moon which is it's title.

It starts out with Tim Maia's Rational Culture since she's from Rio and Maia has been a lifelong favourite, then we go to some 'Slo-Mo' edits from a couple of friends. Next up is one of my own productions (The Groovers) which was released last year and did very well (we've just signed a deal to do an LP this year). Then we have a wonderful A.O.R edit of Nicolette Larsons amazing Lotta Love - this is after all a bit of a love -letter of a mix. 'Fired Up' is a bit of an interlude groove and then we're onto a deep disco edit of Seawind's 'Angel Of Mercy' by The Garden Festival resident Dean Sunshine Smith ( I go every year to this, the best little festival I know of). The Garden happens on the Adriatic coast and just like the Balearic sound there has evolved an Adriatica sound and this mix is very much that. Next to last is Banda Black Rio's version of Rappers Delight - lots of horn and drums. Last one is some Japanese groove by the Crue-L Grand Orchestra.
