Poliça – Lay Your Cards Out

I was introduced to this song only this week and I now have it on loop. I'm going to ruin it but I can't stop myself.

Paul Simon – I Know What I Know

Possibly my favourite song ever? Paul Simon is a god.

Sonna – Frone Taj

This song just makes me feel great. It's pretty epic.

Friends – I'm His Girl

Another one I was given only recently and now am completely hooked on. Totally rad.

The Shins – Australia

This song is named after my homelands but as far as I can tell has nothing to do with it other than an optimistic, sunshiny vibe.

The Soft Boys – Only The Stones Remain

A happy song with eccentric lyrics. As a lot of my favourite music tends to be dreary and depressing, this is another upbeat one that gets a lot of play in the studio.

Arthur Russell – Get Around To It

About three years ago I was completely obsessed with this album. I was sharing a hellhole studio in Whitechapel with friends. We had a good laugh and this album brings me back to that time.

Talking Heads – This Must Be The Place

Talking Heads always has a place on my studio playlist. This song is impossible not to like.

Black Sabbath – Planet Caravan

Trippy and spaced out. I love this song.

Dirty Three – Sad Sexy

I'm a big fan of the Dirty Three and try to see them live as often as possible. Even if you don't like the music it's worth seeing them just for Warren Ellis's hilarious onstage banter.
