Broadcast & The Focus Group – The Be Colony

This sends me into a calm, blissed out haze, which is just what I need for long hours sat editing on my tod late at night.

Sinead O'Conner – I Want Your (Hands On Me)

Pure Filth. Good video too.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band – I'm on Fire

Also pure filth but in a sexy, sad kind of way.

The Music Machine – Hey Joe

Makes me think of future faraway trips to the desert or some canyons, which is the only thing getting me through the work load right now.

Arthur Russell – A Little Lost

He sounds pretty cheerful for someone claiming to be lost. Inspirational.

Amanaz – Sunday Morning

Reminds me of swimming in wild lakes in California and feeling content.

Fleetwood Mac – Everywhere

Anything by this band keeps me sane. This is my current favourite as it reminds me of hazy summer nights jumping around fields drunk with a bunch of wild women friends. Roll on summer.

Thee Oh Sees – Dead Energy

Kicks me up the arse when I have shit to do.

Chrissy Zebby Tembo & Ngozi Family – Trouble Maker

What's not to love? 70's African Fuzz Rock…zzzzzz.

Wu Tang Clan – Method Man

Can't really explain this other than I've loved this song for nearly fifteen years, and despite it's horrifically violent beginning, once it kicks into the song I find it really uplifting! I'm revisiting The Wu in all sorts of ways right now much to my surprise.
