TATTY DEVINE

Dusty Springfield – Spooky

It's hard to pick just one Dusty song. Every track is beautiful, which is why she's so good to play while you work.

Os Mutantes – Baby

A swoony sixties delight and studio staple.

Fleetwood Mac – The Chain

One of the best intros ever. Gets under your skin.

Jim O'Rourke – Something Big

This is just so uplifting.

ESG – Six Pack

We recently put this on a playlist of our top car songs. It's good for the studio too. Very good.

M.I.A. – Paper Planes

We don't know what it is about this track, but it just gets us every time.

Electrelane – I Want To Be The President

Rosie's favourite band, and seems to instantly calm the studio.

Belle & Sebastian – Dog On Wheels

One of our favourite bands. It's hard to pick one track, but we chose this because we made a Dog On Wheels brooch as official band merch for Belle & Sebastian.

Chicks On Speed – Wordy Rappinghood

We've often worked with Chicks on Speed, and we like to work to them, too.

Stereolab – Cybele's Reverie

We played this on repeat when we were setting up Tatty Devine.

PJ Harvey – The Last Living Rose

We love this song. It's a call to the wilds of Dorset for Harriet.

Harpers Bizarre – Witchi Tai To

Our friend Nick Abrahams put this on a mixtape for us when we first met him at ATP, and it's stayed with us ever since.

Patti Smith – Gloria

Patti all the way.

Kari Lynn –  Cleo Cleopatra

We discovered this song around the same time as we did a Cleopatra-inspired range. Fantastic 60s girl garage.

Beyonce – Crazy In Love

We have a weakness for Beyonce in the studio, particularly on Fridays. This is a bit of an oldie now, but still so good for a 4 o'clock pep-up.

Mel and Kim – Respectable

We once learnt the entire dance routine to this song as a staff treat, at Frame in Shoreditch.

The Barcelona Pavillion – Tidy Up

This song is traditionally played last thing on a Friday to herald the weekly studio clean-up, which we call Friday Tidy. Although we cheat now by having a professional cleaner come in.
